What I’m doing in the REC Lab

I am writing my masters thesis on how partnerships can expand the management capacity on the Florida National Scenic Trail. I am in the process of setting up a questionnaire that will be used to interview members of the Florida Trail Coalition. This will give us more insight of how these partnerships function and what expanding management recreation capacity means for outdoor recreation opportunities on the Florida Trail.

Who am I?

Education and Background

I am a double gator, as I also went to UF for my undergrad where I majored in Natural Resource Conservation with a minor in International Studies.

The Details

I am a Gainesville local, Colombian, older sister, and cat mom. While in undergrad I studied abroad 4 times, twice on Dr. Stein’s trip to Costa Rica, an internship in Sorrento, Italy, and a one year exchange in Madrid, Spain. Outside of school, you can find me traveling, going to concerts, drinking coffee, or spending time with my beautiful friends & family.
