The Basics:
I’m a Ph.D. student studying forest resources and conservation in the School of Forestry, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences at the University of Florida.
What I’m doing in the REC Lab
In the REC Lab, I’m researching the sustainable, community-driven development of community-based ecotourism in rural areas of the Brazilian Amazon. I’m interested in understanding the assets already in the communities that could mobilize individuals, associations, and institutions to collaborate to build collaborative partnerships for community-based ecotourism.
