Founded in 2025, Trail Gaiters is a University of Florida club dedicated to helping students explore local hiking trails. It prioritizes increasing the accessibility of hiking for students across all majors, fostering a community that is bonded by a love for the outdoors. Additionally, it brings awareness to the Florida National Scenic Trail, with occasional outings to segments of the FNST. Members of the REC Lab are among the founding executive board members, and the faculty advisor is Dr. Taylor Stein.
